PONDEROSA STATE PARK - VENUE FOR 2008 MASTERS WORLD CUP
Ponderosa State Park Nordic ski trails run the length of a 1000 acre peninsula that splits Payette Lake and is just 2 miles (3 km) north of downtown McCall. The combination of great scenery, good terrain and great snow has been attracting skiers to Ponderosa State Park since the parks beginning in the mid 1960’s. Some of largest old growth trees in the Western United States still draw people from all over the country to the park, both in the summer and the winter.
